We are permitted by the Prescott National Forest Service to fly 365 days a year
If you want to see the Red Rocks, take a jeep tour. There's no better way to get up close and personal with the rock formations. Balloon Rides aren't meant for up close viewing of objects.
Balloons are meant to take in panoramic views and vistas of the surrounding natural beauty. That is why we fly in the Verde Valley.
You will experience views that will vary depending upon the weather and wind direction, but may include sites such as Mingus mountain, the Verde River, the Prescott National Forest, Tuzigoot National Monument, Jerome, Cottonwood, and sites as far away as Sedona and even the San Francisco peaks at the base of the Colorado Plateau near Flagstaff when we are up high. You simply can't see those vistas anywhere else. Additionally, because of where we fly, we are also able to fly more days per year and in more varied directions than our competitors closer in to Sedona simply because of the geography of where we fly. This allows us to keep our costs lower and allows us to pass those savings on to you.
Of course, you could pay almost $50 more per person to fly closer in to Sedona if you wish, but why do that when you can fly with us to see the vistas from up high, then take a jeep tour of the red rocks area and have a more enjoyable and adventurous day at almost the same price as a balloon ride with our competitors.
